This guide will show you basic functions for you 6150, 6150RF, 6160 or 6160RF keypad.
Arm System – In order to start the process of arming your alarm system make sure all protected windows and doors are closed. You should have a green “ready” light on the keypad.
Away – Press “#” and “2” This will arm all devices including motion detectors.
Stay – Press “#” and “3” This will arm all devices and automatically bypasses all motion detectors.
Instant – Press “#” and “7” This will arm the entry doors without delay and bypass all motion detectors.
Maximum – Press “#” and “4” This will arm all devices and will arm all entry doors without an entry delay.
To Turn System Off – Enter 4 digit code and “1”.
Door Chime On/Off – Enter 4 digit code and “9”.
Bypass A Zone – Enter 4 digit code, “6” and two digit zone number you wish to bypass. Wait for bypass to appear then arm the system.
Panic Buttons – Enter 4 digit code and hold for 3 seconds “Medical” or “Police” or “Fire”
Change Master code – Enter current master code, “8”, user number(ex. “02”) and the new 4 digit master code twice.
Change or Add Additional Codes – Enter current master code, “8”, user number(ex. “03”) and new 4 digit code number
Delete A User Code –Enter current master code, “8”, user number(ex. “02”), “#” and “0”.
Sending Test Signal – Make sure all protected windows & doors are closed. You should have a green “ready” light on the keypad. Enter code number, “5”,and “1”. The system will call the monitoring center and when they receive your test signal, the keypad will show “cd” if you do not see this after one minute call for service. To clear out the “cd” enter you code and “1”.
